They are entertaining, a little sexy but not overtly so, and a little time travel.
This was an unusual time travel romance, at least I’ve not read anything like it before. Patrick and Madelyn finally meet at Culloden, where Madelyn pays her respects to a stone marker she finds at her feet, one marked “MacLeod.
So knowing that she is going to have to find another, she decides to go on what was suppose to be her honeymoon to get away from it all. I cannot begin to say how much I love this book. What further strains credulity is that her ex is painted as being so obviously dreadful that anyone who comes into brief contact with him garfen easily discern his sliminess, and yet the supposedly brilliant Madeleyn fell for him.

Google Kueland — Loading The story line is fast-paced, but the behavior of Bentley does not become clear until late in the book, a major turn-off as he thf a key player who makes no sense until deep into what is otherwise a delightful story.
It totally skipped the sex scenes, which is fine with me, but the romance was great. This is certainly better than some of her more recent attempts From This Moment On was good but could’ve been better and brings you back into the fold of the MacLeods.

The two main gadden had great chemistry right from the start and I really liked Patrick, the Scottish Highland time traveller. Without more time spent on the feelings these and other situations evoke, the author leaves the reader lacking and unfulfilled.
